Essentials is now using the new SofTap® permanent makeup Comfort System. SofTap® is the easiest and gentlest way to implant permanent color into the skin. The sofTap® needle configurations are designed to provide maximum comfort, fast healing, little or no touch ups, and most important of, the most natural look in the world.
The SofTap® system has a lot of versatility so you can achieve the look that is for you. Many of the procedures that can be done with SofTap® Hand method are as follows: Individual Hair strokes in the eyebrows, fill in brows lightly, fill them in solidly, do thin, fine lines for eyeliner and lash enhancement, smudgy effect for eyeliner, combination smudgy liner and lash enhancement, thick upper and lower eyeliner, full lip color, lip liner, lip extension, any of these combinations for lips, scar camouflage, beauty mark, or nipple areola reconstruction.

Commonly asked questions (FAQ’s): 1. Does it hurt? With the SofTap® system, there is no pain. 2. How long does it last? Everyone’s skin takes the pigment and holds it differently; but on an average, it will last one to three years. 3. Is it dangerous? No. Allergic reactions of the skin are extremely rare with this process. 4. Will the pigment run? No. Introducing pigments into the dermal layer of the skin produces a permanent, maintenance free and waterproof color. 5. How do I know what color to choose? We can test colors so you may choose the one that best suits you. 6. Are re-touches included? Yes, I will re-touch once within six months of your first visit. 7. How long before swelling and/or redness disappear? Generally within 24 to 48 hours. Healing takes about one week. 8. Does the color fade much? Yes, the color will fade about 45% within the first week. The initial application of color is much darker to allow for fading. 9. Will my eyebrows look natural? Yes. 10. How long does it take? Usually about one to two hours. 11. Do you use an anesthetic? Yes, a local anesthetic is used. |
